About us

Sassy Pooch and Kitty Too was established in Gilroy, California over 15 years ago. In 2019, My husband Juan and I took over the family business. We made it our goal to make the environment feel like home from the minute you walk though the door to the enthusiastic welcome back from your pet. As dog owners ourselves, we’ve had many pets over the years (Smokey, Pink, Cisko, Bean, and Loba) and each one has brought so much love, joy and happiness into our home that we know how important it is to care for your furry family members.

Juan is the Master Groomer, with over 12 years of experience in dog and cat grooming. Mckenna is our Pet Groomer Apprentice and Lennie is our Professional Bather/Preparation Specialist. And I am Yolanda, co-owner of Sassy Pooch and Kitty Too you will find me at the front desk checking in your pups and answering your questions. On occasion you will also see our daughters Sofia and Lili at the salon entertaining all the pets and greeting you at the door.

We pride ourselves in the work we do, our customer service and our family atmosphere. We hope to see you in soon.
